Delaney Lonergan is a 16 year-old rhythmic gymnast from Los Angeles,
California. She belongs to the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics and is
coached by Olga Putsillo. She began practicing gymnastics in 1997. In 2007,
she placed

| ninth as the all around competitor at the Rhythmic Challenge in
Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2006, Delaney placed third in the rope event
at the Visa Championships in St. Paul, Minnesota; third all around competitor in the Eastern Championships in Maryland; and fourth all
around competitor at the Rhythmic Challenge in Colorado Springs; and her
team finished first in the 2006 Pacific Alliance Championships in Honolulu,
Hawaii. Her favorite school subject is Science.

Rachel Girma, Los Angeles, CA
|
|
Rachel Girma is a 16 year-old rhythmic gymnast from Los Angeles, California. She
belongs to the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics and is coached by Olga Putsillo. She
began performing gymnastics in 2000 and loves to perform for an audience. Her favorite event in rhythmic gymnastics is the ribbon. She has placed second in the 2006
Sokol Cup International Competition in Emmenbrucke, Switzerland. In 2006, she
placed sixth

| in the Eastern Championships in Maryland, seventh in the Western
Championships in Illinois and eighth at the Visa Championships in Minnesota. In
2007, Rachel placed sixth in the 2007 Rhythmic Challenge in Colorado Springs,
Colorado. Rachel's hobbies include swimming, hiking and sewing. Her favorite school
subject is math and business. Her ultimate goal is to represent the United States in the Olympics.

Lisa Wang, Buffalo Grove, IL

|
Lisa Wang is a 19 year old from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She is coached by Lana Lashoff at
the Rhythmic Gems club in Illinois. In 2005, her team placed first in the Pan American
Championship in Vitoria, Brazil; her team placed ninth at the Corbeil Essonnes in France;
she placed twenty-first all around competitor in the Julieta Shismanoca International
Rhythmic Gymnastics Tourbament in Bulgaria; twenty-eighth all around competitor at
The Belarus Grand Prix in

| Minsk, Belarus; sixth all around competitor at the Baltic Hoop
In Riga, Latvia; and eighteenth all around competitor at the Derungina Cup in Ukraine. In
2004, she placed eighth all around competitor in the Pacific alliance Championships in
Honolulu, Hawaii; her team placed fifth at the Corbeil Essonnes in France; and seventh
all around competitor at the Julieta Shishmanoca International Rhythmic Gymnastics
Tournament in Bulgaria. Lisa's favorite school subjects are reading and writing.

Julie Zetlin, Bethesda, MD
|
|
Julie Zetlin is a 17 year- old rhythmic gymnast from Bethesda, Maryland. She is
coached by Olga Kutuzova at Rhythmflex in Maryland. Her mother was a former
national rhythmic gymnastics champion in Hungary. She hopes to compete in the
Olympics someday and says her role models include gymnast Mary Sanders and her
mother. In 2006, she placed third in the rope competition at

Honolulu, Hawaii and second all around competitor at the Rhythmic Challenge in
Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2005, she placed fifth all around competitor at the XIX
Torneio Internacional de Porimao in Portimao, Portugal and fifth all around competitor
at the Coupe D'Opale in Calais, France. In 2004, she placed fourth all around competitor
at the Coupe D'Opale in Calais, France and second all around competitor at the Junior
Pan Am Championship in San Salvador in El Salvador. She has several ideas about the
future and would consider a profession as an actress, reporter or a businesswoman. She
enjoys dancing, swimming, skiing and surfing.

Anastasia Torba, Orinda, CA
|
|
Anastasia Torba is a 14 year-old rhythmic gymnast from California. She is coached by
Ludmila Usharova at Allegro Rhythmic in Orinda, California. She became involved in
gymnastics when one of her friends recommended the sport to her. She ended up
taking gymnastic lessons with her friend for fun. She enjoys traveling to different
states for competitions and also loves to sightsee after she completes her competition.

| Her biggest goal in gymnastics is to compete well, learn new elements and place in
competitions. Anastasia placed second all around competitor in the 2007 Rhythmic
Challenge in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2006, she placed third in the hoop
competition in the Visa Championships in Minnesota, she placed second all around
competitor in the Eastern Championships in College Park Maryland, and tenth all
around competitor in the Western Championships in Deerfield, Illinois. She placed
seventh all around competitor in the 2006 Junior Pan American Rhythmic Gymnastics
Championships in Toronto, Canada. Anastasia loves to read Harry Potter books, ride
her bike, watch movies, listen to the band Green Day, swim and hang out with her friends. Her favorite school
subject is Social Studies.

Marlee Shape, Buffalo Grove, IL
|
|
Marlee Shape is a 14 year-old rhythmic gymnast from Buffalo Grove, IL. She belongs
to the North Shore Rhythmic Training Center and is coached by Natasha Klimouk,
Dan Takova and Angelina Yovcheva. She has placed third all around competitor in the
International Pacific Alliance Competition in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was second all
around competitor in the 2006 Rhythmic Challenge in Colorado Springs, CO. She
placed fourth

| overall competitor and third in rope and ribbon competitions in the U.S.
Gymnastics Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. Marlee has been on the USA
Gymnastics Rhythmic National Team for one year. Her favorite television show is
"Laguna Beach" and her favorite movies are Clueless and Center Stage. She enjoys
babysitting, being with friends, volunteering at her synagogue and shopping. Her goal
is to always do the best job that she can in gymnastics. Her favorite school subject is
math and she hopes to pursue a career in the performing arts when she gets older.

Tyler Rosemond, Fresh Meadows, NY

Tyler Rosemond is a 12 year-old rhythmic gymnast from New Jersey. She is coached by
Julie Bulatov at Big Apple in North Shore, New Jersey. She fell in love with the sport of
rhythmic gymnastics when she saw the Goodwill Games Rhythmic Gymnastics
Competitions on television. She began taking artistic gymnastics lessons when she was
five years old. She love to train,

| travel and make new friends from around
the world. She would like to qualify for inclusion on the Junior and Senior National
teams for USA Gymnastics. In 2007, Tyler has placed fourth all around competitor in
the Rhythmic Challenge event in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2006, she placed
third all-around competitor in the Visa Championships in Minnesota, third all around competitor in the Western Championships in Illinois, and fifth all around competitor in the Rhythmic Challenge in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2005, she placed fourteenth all around competitor in the Visa Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. Tyler likes to write poetry, dance and loves seafood. She currently attends NYC Junior High. Kristian Brooks is a 17 year-old rhythmic gymnast from Corunna, Michigan. She is
coached by Jennifer Buckley and belongs to the Sports Club of Novi. Her goal in
rhythmic gymnastics is to continue to improve her talent and to represent the United
States for International Competitions. She has placed tenth all around competitor in
the Danube Cup Competition in Slovakia, fourth in the clubs competition for at the

the Pacific Alliance Championships in Honolulu. In 2005, Kristian placed third all
around competitor in the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana;

around competitor in the Rhythmic Challenge in Colorado, third all around
competitor in the US Gymnastics Championships in Nashville; fourth all around
competitor in the USA Rhythmic Western Competition in Illinois; first all around competitor in the J.O Nationals in Wilmington; and second all around competitor in the J.O. Nationals in Houston. Kristian has three older brothers and enjoys playing cards, listening to her iPod, shopping and keeping in touch with her international friends.

Ava Gehringer is an 18 year-old rhythmic gymnast from Evanston, Illinois. She is
coached by Natasha Klimouk and Dani Takova at the North Shore Rhythmic
Gymnastic Center in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She began performing gymnastics in 1994

D'Opale in Calais, France. In 2006, Ava placed fourth in the ball competition at the
Happy Cup in Belgium; fifth in the rope competition at the No Limits Open in Belgium;
and first in the ball competition at the Diputacion de Huelva in Huelva, Spain. Her
favorite part of performing rhythmic gymnastics is traveling, meeting new people and
experiencing different cultures.

Evgeniya Kanaeva is a 17 year old gymnast from Russia. She trains in Moscow and is coached by Irina Viner, and Vera Shtelbaums.

Anna Bessonova- Ukraine
|
|
Anna Bessonova is a twenty-three year old gymnast from Ukraine. Her father is
Vladimir Bessonov, a famous soccer player and her mother Viktoria is a two
Time world champion group rhythmic gymnast. Anna was put into rhythmic
Gymnastics at age five. She is

|
coached by the mother/daughter team Albina
And Irina Deriugina at the Deriugins School in Kyiv. Anna is the number one
Gymnast in the Ukraine. She finished third at the 2004 Athens Olympics.

Simona Peycheva- Bulgaria
|
|
Simona Peycheva is a twenty-two year old rhythmic gymnast who is
considered by many to be the best Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast because
of her extreme flexibility, technical brilliance and her ability to please the
audience.

|
Simona started performing rhythmic gymnastics in 1991 at the
Academic Club in Sofia under coach Marietta Dukova. In 2000 and 2001
she won three gold medals at the Madrid World Championships in Spain.
She competed in the 2004 European Championships. At the 2004 Athens
Olympics she placed sixth.

Aliya Yussupova- Khazakstan
|
|
Aliya Yussupoca is a rhythmic gymnast from Kazakhstan. She is coached by
Russian coach Irina Viner. At the 2004 Athens Olympics she qualified for the
finals as fifth place. In the finals, she placed fourth all around. Aliya won the
Kazakhstani National Championships in the individual all around competition
from 2000 to 2005. In 2006, Aliya won six gold medals at the Asian
championships in Surat, India.

Inna Zhukova - Belarus
|
|
Inna Zhukova is a rhythmic gymnast from Belarus. She started performing
rhythmic gymnastics when she was four years old. She began her training in
Russia but left to pursue trining in Belarus with coach Irina Leparskaya. She
made her international debut in 2001. At the 2004 Atens Olympics she placed
seventh all around competitor.

Vera Sessina- Russia
|
|
Vera Sessina is an individual rhythmic gymnast from Russia. Vera trains in Moscow at
the MGFCO- Dinamo Club. She started Rhythmic Gymnastics in 1993. She won the all
around competition in the 2006 European Championships in Moscow, beating five
times European champion and Olympics champion Alina Kabaeva. In Mie Prefecture
in Japan, Vera closed a successful season by winning three events at the FIG World Cup
Finals.
